Behind this blog is me, Eugenia Suárez. I make boots by hand, one stitch at a time.

I believe boots aren’t just footwear. They’re companions. They go through life with you. And somewhere along the way, they stop being objects and start becoming witnesses.

There’s something deeply human in a pair of well-worn boots, they hold memory. They absorb time.

This work has taught me how emotion lives in what we create. How the energy we put into things matters. That’s why I make each pair slowly, from the heart. And why I wanted a place like this blog, to share that world, with honesty, and with humor.

Because let’s face it: we live in heavy times. People are overwhelmed, guarded, tired of pretending.

Humor, to me, is sacred. It’s one of the gentlest ways we can reach each other to say: hey, I see you. And also, isn’t life kind of ridiculous sometimes?

Here, I’ll be sharing not just thoughts and ramblings, but also “boot capsules” I make and the stories they carry. All of them, a way to explore what it means to walk through this life with feeling, and with good leather on your feet.

So here we are: boots, feelings, jokes. A little odd? Maybe. But it’s home for me, and if it speaks to something in you too, then I’m so glad you’re here.
